How to readjust the Rotary hook timing
Tools needed:
1- Philips screwdriver
2- Slotted screwdriver
3- Small slotted screwdriver
4- Curved screwdriver
Step 1:
a) Remove the bobbin case (bobbin case and the bobbin)
b) Remove the needle plate (three flat screws on top)
c) Remove the rotary hook gourd (tow Philips screw left and right)
d) Remove the rotary hook retaining finger (tow Philips screw down)
Step 2:
Manually rotating the rotary hook clockwise using the black knob right side of the arm
There are three screws holding the rotary hook with the main shaft
a)release The two sunken screws first not to lose
b)Turn down the needle to 200 degrees (manually rotating the rotary hook clockwise using the black knob right side of the arm)
c)Turn down the rotary hook basket for a clear view
d)Now check the position between the needle scarf and the rotary hook tip
BEST TIMING: (The tip must be at the middle of the needle scarf and just behind the needle as close as could but not to touch the needle) then tighten the screws again
e) Release the third prominent screw not to lose
f) Adjusting the timing
-Move the rotary hook front – back and left – right until
Find the best timing
-now tide the prominent screw first then tide the two sunken screws
g) Back the rotary hook retaining finger to the position then tide it
– (make sure the retaining finger does not tide with the notch)
– (make sure the retaining finger is positioned in the middle of the embroidery needle)
– (put the needle between the retaining finger and the notch then tide the retaining finger screws)
h) Now go to 200 degrees and check it’s ok then back the needle position up
Step 3:
i) Go to 100degree
j) Back the bobbin case to the rotary hook
k) Back the rotary hook gourd
l) Back the needle plate
